To bust this boy out of the pound.
BEAR | 2yrs old approx | Male | Siberian Husky
Located Country Pound
Bear is currently in a country pound and we need a home for him to go too. He’s served way past his time and needs out ASAP
Please read the notes from our team member that met with him and complete an application if you can assist.
📌 He was being a bit stand off ish to shelter staff, but the second I walked ran straight to me and jumped into my lap. He is very affectionate and when would often stand up and give me a hug. He is underweight and very gentle and there was no risk of him pushing me over. He was very trusting of me and let me pick him up and hold him like a baby without wriggling and just seemed to love the cuddles.
He is a very happy boy with a great temperament, very good looks although he does need a proper groom but then he will look stunning.
Had a quick play with a dominant male red healer which went well. He was not scared or aggressive when the healer tried being dominant.
Also had introductions to a Juvenile submissive female kelpie, which also went well but when the started running laps Bear did look like his prey drive might have been starting to come out, so I would not recommend small dogs.
Bear didn't show much instrest in treats and showed no signs or resource guarding when other dogs came out.
He was very gentle to walk on lead but does move to the left and right trying to see and smell everything.
