This gorgeous little fella is very sweet, very gentle, very affectionate and loves people. If you're looking for a smoochy companion then this is the cat for you.

Leo was well loved by his previous owner but sadly they passed away and the family did not have the space to take Leo on so they made the decision to reach out to us to find him a new home. He comes from a loving household and has a lot of love to give in return.

He is also very confident and wont waste any time settling into her new household. Within hours of arriving in his foster home he was rubbing up against his foster carers legs wanting attention.

Leo is full of personality and would bring endless joy and amusement to any household lucky enough to have him. He is very talkative, particularly at meal time, and he will run up and say hello the second you get home.

He is happy to chill out and do his own thing but he also loves human company. He's also a snuggle bug and wont waste anytime jumping up on your lap or finding a comfy spot on your bed to take a nap.

Leo would make the perfect companion for a retiree or homebody who wants to add some love and life to their household.

We're not sure how he would go with another cat but given that he has a very gentle nature we imagine he would adapt in time. He is however terrified of kids and will run for the hills when they are around so a household that's child free is a must.

Leo is used to being an indoor / outdoor cat but is loving life as an indoor only cat that can chill on the heating vent or find a spot in the sun. He's not a fan of being brushed but definitely needs to be groomed regularly so an experienced cat owner or someone who's happy to take him to a professional groomer would be ideal.

Leo is approximately 4 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
