About Bonnie
Hi there, I'm Bonnie!
I'm an 8-year-and-6-month-old Domestic Medium Hair with a gorgeous Torti and white coat, and I'm quite the independent lady if I do say so myself. I'm on the lookout for a home where I can relax, stretch out, and keep an eye on things from whichever spot I decide is just perfect for the day. I'm not the type to be all over you, but don't worry-I'll be your quiet companion, always watching over the house and keeping you company from my favorite perch.
I get along just fine with other cats, especially those who are like me-chill and happy to just hang out and enjoy the calm. If there's another feline friend around, we'll get along splendidly as long as they know how to relax like I do.
I'd love a home with kids who understand the art of respect and can appreciate a quiet, sophisticated cat like myself. If you're looking for a lovely, laid-back lady to share your home with, I'm your girl. So, what do you think? Shall we be friends?
To book a meet and greet with Bonnie please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
