About Gretel - 11 Week Old Kelpie X (Trial)
Introducing Gorgeous Gretel.
This delightful young lady is an intelligent, affectionate and highly adorable Kelpie X. Gretel is capturing hearts and attention everywhere! Her irresistible sweet personality matches her striking appearance.
This beautiful happy young lady enjoys learning new skills and is very eager to please. She displays affection and this playful puppy has a cautious sense of adventure. She is happy both exploring in the back yard or curling up on the lounge for a cuddle and tummy rub.
She loves to zoom around the back yard with her foster fur sister and plays with her toys, chasing leaves and chewing on sticks. She can keep herself entertained with games and enrichment activities however loves human attention. Gretel has been exposed to older children (5 years and older) however limited experience with other dogs, cats and pocket pets. She does display caution when encountering a new experience and is more of a timid nature.
She has the basic commands well under control and is working hard on her recall. She has recently been introduced to walking on a lead with a harness. She intelligent, eager to learn and treat oriented making her perfect to train.
Gretel would thrive in an active home with people who love her for her affectionate nature and all the love she likes to give. She enjoys the company of people and would ideally benefit having another dog to play with and keep her company during the day as well. Gretel, is a keen learner and wants to please. However, would be fine as an only dog. She sleeps through the night in her crate and is working very hard on her house training.

Gretel's adoption fee is $700 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
She is in foster care in Maitland, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
