About Dolly
**Meet Dolly, Your New Best Friend!**
Hi! I’m Dolly, a Shih Tzu x Sydney Silky (Australian Terrier), so I’m not only cute to look at but also pretty clever! If you’re looking for a playful, loving companion, I’m your girl! I’m all about walks, zooming around off-leash, and soaking up the sunshine.
One thing you should know about me: I *looooooove* human cuddles. Like, *really* love them. I’ll climb right up and hug you like a furry human, snuggling into your neck for maximum love.
My needs are simple—give me a human or two who can be with me every day, keep me on a routine (especially with my daily walks), and I’m happy! All I need is food, love, boundaries, encouragement, and regular grooming to keep me looking and feeling my best.
I’m great with kids, too! I love saying hi and giving them little kisses. Men can scare me a bit, though—that’s just because I haven’t been around many. But with a little time and patience, I’ll learn to trust and open up to them, too.
I’m also good in the car—short trips are easy peasy, and for longer trips, I just need some extra breaks to stretch my little legs.
I do have one funny quirk: sneezes spook me a bit! But don’t worry, it just adds to my charm. I’d prefer a home where I can be the one and only fur baby, but I still love playing with other dogs at the park and running around off-leash with my pals.
Things we are looking for:
- Someone who can walk her every day and have a set routine
- Families of all ages welcome
- Fixed shelter outside
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**
Due to an anticipated high volume of applications the adoption process is outlined below:
1. You must complete our Adoption Application Form by following the link to our website: https://www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au/forms.html NOT THE PET RESCUE ENQUIRY BUTTON
2. Include as much information as possible and it is never a case of "first in best dressed" when we are choosing the most appropriate new home. Matching an animal with a family is based on lifestyle, family members, attitudes to pet ownership and the personality of the pet.
3. Due to the number of applications we receive all correspondence is through email and if your application is short listed we will either call you to discuss it further and possible invite you to a meet and greet.
