Hi, my name's Elija, Nice to meet you! I'm an all-American Bulldog ready to make my mark on the world and meet my forever family.

A bit about me: I'm a very sweet boy who loves to lean into my humans for pats and cuddles once I get to know them. I love treats and playing. The world is still so big to me, so I'm looking for a family who is able to make things okay and can take things slow with me. Could that be with you?

What am I looking for in a family? I would like to live with some adult humans and potentially some kids who are at least 12 old - anyone under 16 must be present for the meet & greet!
Young kids can just be a little overwhelming for me and I often don't understand my own strength. It's best that I'm the youngest anyway as I need all of your attention!

I might consider living with another dog, but I'd love to have a doggy play date with them to see if we match each others energy first. So if you do have canine companion, please bring them into the shelter to meet me!
