You don't? Well we have the perfect girl for you, who is bound to make you feel bonita from head to toe!

At over 6 years old the beautiful Bonita was surrendered into our care, as her previous owners were unable to care for her. Bonita is hoping to find a family willing to give her a second chance at life in her golden years.

Bonita is the sweetest lady and has already mastered the art of sitting and shake. As she is a senior lady she is very polite and loves anything to do with food. Food-based enrichment toys such as kongs and treat puzzles are the best way to keep her mind active.

At the moment Bonita can be a little bit uncomfortable around pats and cuddles, and needs time to warm up to her future adopters before she can settle. Because of this, young children would overwhelm her and Bonita needs to go home to an adults only household.

However, once she does warm up Bonita loves a good bum scratch and loves to be the centre of attention. Meeting new people can often overwhelm her so her future adopters should be committed to taking things nice and slow with her.

Bonita does however love the company of other dogs, and would greatly benefit from having another dog at home to help boost her confidence and learn new skills from.

Unfortunately, this sweet lady is quite shut-down and nervous here in the shelter and would greatly benefit from being in a home environment where she can flourish into the best version of herself.
