On Hold
About Stanley - 6 Month Old Poodle (Hold)
Stanley is a sweet and affectionate 6 month old Standard Poodle puppy looking for a family of his own.
Stanley is lots of fun with a gentle nature. He likes playing with toys and meeting new people but is just as happy to curl up on the lounge with you for a cuddle. He wants to be your shadow and is happy to be doing whatever his people are doing! A lot of the outside world is new to Stanley but he is proving to be a confident and happy young dog.
Stanley is friendly with other dogs of all sizes and has met kids, cats, rabbits, birds and horses and was very sweet with all of them.
Stanley has been working hard on his toilet training and while he is picking this up quickly, his new family will need to continue his toilet training. As a young dog training and socialising are important to develop into a happy and well adjusted adult dog.
Being a Poodle, Stanley will require regular grooming and coat maintenance. He has been for his first professional groom where he was described as a superstar and took it all in his stride. His new family will need to have the time to dedicate to daily grooming to avoid painful matting of his coat. Poodles are high energy, intelligent dogs and Stanley will require daily exercise and mental stimulation in his new home.
Stanley is currently an inside dog and must be allowed inside in his new home. He would love another dog as a sibling but would also be ok as an only dog if his people are home more often than not.
Stanley is in foster care in Maitland area, NSW, and is not available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $1000 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
