Hello, my name is Crackah! I’m a young cattle dog mix, and I’m currently staying at this cozy shelter, hoping to find my forever home soon.

Life here is full of fun and excitement—I love to explore new smells and get cuddles from the shelter staff. They say I’m a bundle of energy and joy!

As much as I enjoy my time here, I’m really looking forward to finding a family of my own. I’m a unique pup with some specific needs. Being a cattle dog mix, I have traits that are characteristic of my breed. I’m intelligent, energetic, and I thrive on having a job to do. My future owner should have experience with herding breeds like mine and understand that I’ll need mental and physical stimulation to keep me happy.

Another thing to know about me is that I am still learning how to act around other dogs. I will need a patient hooman who is willing to help me learn how to be a good boy around other dogs as I can be a bit rude and bark - I'm learning though! I have even met a nice dog who was really polite and showed me polite ways of saying hello. Because I’ve grown up in a shelter environment, I’ll need ongoing training to help me learn basic manners and grow into a well-rounded dog. I also would love to have a secure yard, a fence with secure footing would be ideal for me!
