Meet Bonnie: A Sweet and Loyal Cavoodle

Bonnie is a charming 2-year-old Cavoodle who thrives on human companionship and loves to stay close to her person. This loyal and affectionate girl will follow you from room to room, always ready for cuddles. While Bonnie has made great strides in building her confidence, she still experiences some anxiety, particularly around new people and unfamiliar situations. With love, patience, and reassurance, she is steadily making progress every day. Bonnie knows several tricks such as "sit," "on your bed," "wait," and "okay" (come), especially when hand signals are involved. Whether you're working from home, heading to the office, or running errands, Bonnie is happiest when she’s by your side.

My Ideal Home: Bonnie would thrive in a calm and loving home where her humans are around most of the time. She is best suited for someone who works from home, has a flexible schedule, or can bring her to the office. Bonnie's anxiety means she needs a home with patient, understanding owners who can provide the stability and gentle encouragement she needs to continue building her confidence. A peaceful household without young children would be ideal, as Bonnie prefers quiet surroundings with minimal sudden noises or fast movements.

My Energy Level: Bonnie has a moderate energy level. She enjoys a daily routine of two short walks (about 15 minutes each), where she loves to sniff around and explore. After her walks, Bonnie is content to relax by your side, whether it’s lounging at home or resting at your feet while you work. She is low-maintenance in this regard—her biggest need is your presence!

My Suitability to Children: Bonnie would do best in a home without young children, as she can be a bit skittish and prefers calm environments. Loud noises or quick movements can increase her anxiety, so a quiet, predictable household with adults or older children who can respect her need for space and gentle interactions would be ideal.

My Suitability to Other Cats or Dogs: Bonnie is initially shy around other dogs but warms up with time and enjoys their company. A confident dog companion could help Bonnie feel more secure as she continues to work on her anxiety. She has not had experience with cats.

Fun Fact: Bonnie’s biggest obsession (after you, of course) is human food! She once stole an entire steak off a plate (that’s the last time I left my dinner at cavoodle height). Though she dropped it immediately, it’s clear she has excellent taste!
