About Jillie
Introducing Jillie!
Jillie is a Beagle born 27th December 2018.
Jillie has in to us as a retired breeding dog. All of her puppies have found their new homes, so it's finally her time to find her happily ever after.
Since being at the facility, Jillie has been an absolute delight to care for. She's quiet, friendly, affectionate, gentle when taking treats & loves using her nose.
Jillie tested well with other animals, however given her quiet & gentle nature, she prefers the company of other gentle & calm dogs. While she is non-reactive to barking & boisterous dogs, she did become frightened & tried to back away from them and the situation. If you have a friendly dog at home, we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
Jillie showed no interest in cats & pocket pets, so we believe that with a slow & controlled introduction she could be suitable to live with smaller animals.
*Please note our cat & pocket pet testing is done through an enclosure. We cannot guarantee how they will react to free roaming animals.
Jillie has shown no signs of food aggression or separation anxiety while being at the facility.
Jillie's adoption fee is $600 and includes her desexing and lifetime registration.
Jillie has been treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
