About Toast rstk002041
Introducing Toast, a unique and endearing feline who blossoms under the right circumstances. Though she's a bit nervous meeting new people and adjusting to new environments, what's most remarkable about Toast is her transformation once she feels safe and secure in her new home. Patience is key to winning over this charming lady, but the rewards are incredibly fulfilling.
Toast is naturally easy-going and low-maintenance, making her a delightful companion for those who appreciate an independent feline. She loves to sleep next to you, providing comforting company without being overly clingy. Toast is playful and enjoys engaging in her own little games, capable of amusing herself if you need to work or attend to other tasks. She's the perfect fit for a quiet home without children, where she can truly relax and be herself. While she prefers not to be picked up or smothered with love, she loves to sit next to you, making her presence known in a subtle, heartfelt way.
This lovely lady is perfectly fine with feline-friendly canines, and she prefers to live indoors, where she feels safe and content. Toast's ideal home would be one that offers warmth, patience, understanding, and the quietude she so cherishes. If you're someone with a peaceful household looking for a companion who respects your space while also providing loyal companionship, Toast could very well be the perfect match for you.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
