About Sadie
Allow us to introduce Sadie, a beautiful 5-year-old Cavalier King Charles with a heart as regal as her breed. This gentle girl may be a bit nervous at first, but with time and patience, she blossoms into a tender and loving companion. Her lovable personality shines through especially when she’s around other dogs her own size, making her an excellent candidate for a household with a canine friend.
Sadie thrives on love and attention, and she truly enjoys pats and treats—small gestures that mean the world to her. She does have a bit of separation anxiety that emerges when you first leave her, but this can be managed with consistent routine and love. Sadie's ideal forever home would be one where her new family understands her initial timidity and is willing to help her grow more confident each day.
While Sadie is great with dogs her own size, she is a little wary around cats and would prefer a feline-free home. Her new family should be prepared to offer basic training and lead practice to help her reach her full potential. Her loyalty and affection make it worth every moment.
In summary, Sadie would flourish in a calm and supportive environment with another friendly dog to guide her. With her sweet nature and soulful eyes, she’s bound to become a cherished member of a loving household. Give Sadie the chance to come out of her shell, and she’ll reward you with endless love and companionship.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
