About Izzy
Meet Izzy, a beautiful 5-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a heart full of love and the sweetest eyes you'll ever see. Izzy is looking for a gentle and patient home where she can truly blossom into the loving companion she is meant to be.
At the moment, Izzy is quite scared and nervous, but with the right environment and lots of love, she will become much more confident. She thrives in a serene and calm setting where she can feel safe and gradually open up. Izzy would do splendidly with another doggy friend who can show her the ropes and provide her with some much-needed canine companionship. She's initially scared around cats, but with time and gradual introductions, she would be okay in a home with a cat.
Once Izzy becomes comfortable with you, you will see her true, affectionate nature shine through. She adores gentle pats and cuddles, and nothing warms her heart more than the reassuring presence of a kind human. Her new family will need to have patience and understanding, giving Izzy the time she needs to feel secure. To help her adjust, a tranquil, patient setting where she isn't overwhelmed by too much commotion would be ideal.
Are you the loving and patient home that Izzy needs to become her best self? If so, you'll find a loyal and gentle friend in this wonderful Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Medical notes
Izzy had a dental scale and clean performed. She has mild alopecia along her tail and nasal bridge which is to be monitored. She was treated with Simparica Trio to rule out mites. Vet suggests that blood testing may be warranted if ongoing or worsens
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
