About Blondie
Hi! My name is Blondie. I'm named me after the singer because I ‘ROCK’! When I first came into foster care I was called Buffy on account of how brave I am, and I can slay vampires. I am 2 years old now and through no fault of my own I need to find my perfect human match. I am told I am the smartest dog on the planet (though that could be a slight exaggeration). I am definitely one of the best looking though! Yes, you could say I am a confident girl.
I have a few requests. I need space, lots of space! In return, I will keep all nasties away (including vampires - no fear) with my instinctive guardian spirit. I probably won’t like to be left alone too long and I could do with a canine buddy if they are the right fit. I am being fostered on a farm right now with two other dogs.
I haven’t really learned about protecting livestock yet. Humans are the ones I bonded with first! I have always been allowed to sleep inside and usually like to get as close to my humans as possible. I am even willing to share the bed if this suits you.
I know all the basic commands....sit, stay, drop, shake hands and, if you have the time, I am extremely teachable! It will help if you know a bit about my breed as I am told we are a ‘very special ‘ breed. And above all I will love you like there is no tomorrow, I have sooo much love to give.
RSVP me - I am taking applications now. Oh… I am desexed, microchipped and up to date with all my vacs etc. Love Blondie aka Buffy.

This is in no way an obligation to adopt but simply gives us some more information about the home, family and lifestyle you have to offer a new pet.
As of 2017, Fresh Start Rescue are no longer placing dogs in homes with children under the age of 9 years old. We know this will frustrate many families looking to adopt, however for the safety of both those families and are beloved dogs, we have decided to put this measure into place.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
