About Oscar
Meet Oscar, the sweet little munchkin with boundless energy and a heart full of love! Left unclaimed at the pound, it’s hard to understand how anyone could part with this charming little fellow. Oscar is a picture of a sociable dog who gets along famously with other canines. He would absolutely thrive with a spunky female doggy pal of a similar age to keep him company, especially during those times when the humans are away.
Oscar's energetic side, characteristic of his Jack Russell heritage, demands a good-sized yard where he can zoom around and play to his heart's content. Interaction is key for this lively dog, as he loves spending time with both humans and other pets. Oscar's ideal home is one with ample space for him to run and play, so he's not suited for apartments or tightly clustered dwellings like townhouses or villa units.
Training Oscar will be a delightful experience, thanks to his love for food. While he hasn’t had any lead training yet, his eagerness to please and his fondness for treats will make obedience lessons both enjoyable and effective. With a bit of time and patience, he’ll soon become your obedient little companion.
On the grooming front, Oscar’s coat is low maintenance – just a good brush through each week will keep him looking spiffy. And being a small-sized dog, he’s got the potential to be your loyal friend for many wonderful years, living a healthy life of around 12-15 years.
Oscar is ready for a family who can match his energy levels, give him the interaction he craves, and provide a spacious yard for his playful antics. If you’re looking for an energetic, loving, and sociable dog to add joy and laughter to your life, Oscar is the perfect candidate to become your new best friend.
