About Roxy
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Roxy is sweet, gentle and very curious about everything kinda girl. She is currently in care with two of her siblings, two other dogs and two young kids (under 5). she has not shown any signs off aggression and has so much patience for the kids and other dogs. she will happily lay there and let the kids roll all over her. She loves a good chase around the backyard, loves to soak up the sun but is also just as content to snuggle with you on the lounge or just to be in the same room as you.
She can entertain herself, by throwing her own ball and chasing after it. she loves laying in her crate, especially when her siblings get just a bit to much for her. She walks well on a lead, she doesn't pull and is happy to walk beside you. Roxie loves walking through water and then drying off in the sand pit. She is toilet trained and can last through the night without any accidents.
Roxie gets very excited when you first enter a room and tends to jump up on you, we are currently working on this along with basic commands of sit, stay and down. she is very trainable and is picking these skills up quickly. as she grew up on rural farm she hasn't
My Ideal Home:
Roxie needs an active home, where she can be allowed to sleep inside and have access to outside. She would love company especially for when her owners are not home, but she would also be content being an only dog and the sole recipient of many cuddles and pats.
What is Known About My Background:
Roxie was part of an accidental litter, she lived with her parents and seven siblings till being surrendered
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Roxie is amazing with kids, she has so much patients and relishes in their attention. she is still a puppy and is strong so she can get a bit excited and knock them over, but she is quick to realise she did wrong and is right there given them lots of licks to try and make up for her mistake.
She is currently in foster with two of her siblings, a Staffy cross and a Labradoodle and has had no problems with them, she is not aggressive, happy to play but also happy to be on the sideline and watch all the excitement. she has had a play with a toy poodle and has hand no problems with her either.
