About Ryda
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Ryda is a soft and gentle boy, bit unsure about some things, he never left his home on a rural property, when he came into my care he was bit timid, he is getting more confident every day.
He is currently in care with two of his siblings, two other dogs and two young kids (under 5). he has not shown any signs off aggression and has so much patience for the kids and other dogs. he will happily lay there and let the kids roll all over him. He loves a good chase around the backyard, but is also just as content to snuggle with you on the lounge or just to be in the same room as you.
He loves laying in his crate, especially when his siblings get just a bit to much for him. He walks well on a lead, he doesn't pull and is happy to walk beside you. Ryda loves walking through water and then drying off in the sand pit. he is toilet trained and can last through the night without any accidents.
Ryda gets very excited when you first enter a room and tends to jump up on you, we are currently working on this along with basic commands of sit, stay and down. he is very trainable and is picking these skills up quickly. as he grew up on rural farm he hasn't been socialised from a young age, but he is learning quickly and loves being around other dogs.
My Ideal Home:
Ryda needs an active home, where she can be allowed to sleep inside and have access to outside. She would love company especially for when her owners are not home, but she would also be content being an only dog and the sole recipient of many cuddles and pats.
What is Known About My Background:
Ryda was part of an accidental litter, he lived with her parents and seven siblings till being surrendered
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Ryda is amazing with kids, he has so much patients and relishes in their attention. he is still a puppy and is strong so he can get a bit excited and knock them over, but he is quick to realise he did wrong and is right there given them lots of licks to try and make up for his mistake. He is currently in foster with two of his siblings, a Staffy cross and a Labradoodle and has had no problems with them, he is not aggressive, happy to play but also happy to be on the sideline and watch all the excitement. he has had a play with a toy poodle and has hand no problems with her either.
Ryda has had no exposure to cats.
