About Bunta
If you looking for an adorable, entertaining and highly affectionate companion dog, look no further than charming little Bunta, a young Maltese mix who'll steal your heart in an instant.
Reluctantly surrendered by his devoted owner due to a housing problem, Bunta is said to be crossed with a Chihuahua, but check out those ears!! Maybe a dollop of Papillon too??
This little dog loves life - and balls and toys and hoses and humans! He's even happy to have his nails clipped!
In his foster home, Bunta has a collection of soft toys and balls that he tosses around with glee to the amusement of his foster mum.
Outside his favourite activity involves the hose. While his foster mum waters the garden, he darts in and out of the spray. It's the best fun, but don't expect the same response when it comes to bathtime or having those grubby paws washed.
Bunta is a companion dog through and through and would thrive in a home where he has the company of his human family most of the time and/or another compatible dog to play with. One thing is for sure - Bunta is definitely not suited to a solitary life in the backyard.
Being a clever and exuberant chap, he needs plenty of mental and physical stimulation. He enjoys a daily walk and gets quite excited at the sight of his harness and lead. Aside from walk time, he loves some vigorous play throught the day and lots of cuddles with his favourite human.
He is house-trained and happy to use a doggie door.
Bunta lived happily with a pre-schooler so would be fine with children who understand a dog's boundaries.
He lived happily in a multi-dog household, but is untested with cats.
Is Bunta the boy for you?
