Meet Saffron, a charming ginger and white kitty with a heart as warm as her cozy fur. Saffron came to 2nd Chance Cat Rescue with some initial health concerns, but after thorough vet visits and tests, it turns out she's simply a well-insulated, chubby little stray kitten who now requires some extra TLC to get into shape.

Saffron has a laid-back, cuddly nature that makes her an ideal companion for those who love a snuggly feline friend. She isn't one to dart away when you approach, preferring instead to enjoy all the pats and cuddles you can give. This lovely girl is currently on a diet and exercise program that involves plenty of playtime to help her burn off her excess weight and transition to a healthier, balanced diet.

While Saffron is residing with what we believe to be her sister, Squirrel, they don't see eye to eye, so Saffron would thrive in a home with another friendly feline companion to keep her company. She delights in being snuggled up in a blanket during winter while her human foster sister works on homework, making her an adorable study buddy.
