About Audrey
Please meet our stunning “Audrey”
Audrey is a very smart little girl whose favourite thing to do is gently play toy games and do her dance moves for claps and cuddles with her foster mum. She loves to wear jumpers and has quite a collection, she also loves snuggling in bed in the mornings.
Audrey will tolerate other dogs if they are respectful and give her space, she would prefer having her people to herself though. She is definitely a people dog and enjoys lots of attention and pats.
We have been working with Audrey in large open spaces as she could get quite overwhelmed. She has shown great progress and recently enjoyed a walk in the big park (yay Audrey!!) She likes to travel in her crate in the car, visits to cafes, enjoys her food, is a good girl for the groomer, and is good with kids.
You will need to be committed to further training, regular 6 to 8 week grooming visits, and have experience with toy poodles.
It is a condition in our adoption agreement that all our dogs are to be taken through obedience training to ensure they reach their full potential.
IF YOU CAN TICK ALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have a secure yard.
• Audrey will not be alone for more than 5 hrs
• You will enrol Audrey in obedience training.
• You will allow Audrey to be part of the family and will allow her access to indoors with you.
• You WILL provide her with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please provide the name of the obedience club you will be attending and any information on experience you have with the poodle breed.
PLEASE NOTE: if you provide basic details only or do not meet above criteria, we will be unable to process your application sorry.

Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
