Introducing the handsome Benji 😍

Benji is a 3 year old male staffy who just loves life!

Benji has a lovely gentle nature and tries very hard to please his humans. He would do well with an active family who will include him in their adventures and/or a family looking for a friend for their existing dog.

Benji is down for pretty much any activity with his humans. He is just as happy having a snuggle on the couch (he fancies himself as a bit of lap dog, haha) or going for a walk, or having a play in the backyard! But he is equally happy being left to play with a doggie friend while his humans are busy or not home. Benji has been unphased by all the crazy weather of late.

He is excellent at 'sit', will stop and wait when told to on walks and is doing quite well picking up some other commands, but would benefit from someone who is willing to continue this training.

Benji enjoys his regular walks and is quite good on the lead after the initial excitement of heading out for a walk, and is generally able to be walked on a loose lead, but when he does pull towards an interesting scent he can pull quite hard, so he would be best suited to an owner who is willing to work on this with him.

Benji has been living very happily with a very boisterous younger dog and with children in his foster home and we have no concerns with his behaviour toward them. He has demonstrated little to no reactivity to other dogs when out on walks.

Benji but has not been tested with other animals.

He is house trained and has not had any accidents in his foster home, but doesn't seem to have any specific way of letting you know when he needs to go, so you may just need to let him out every now and again if he is inside for a prolonged period.
