About Dingo
Meet Dingo!
Dingo is a lively and affectionate 4-year-old Kelpie with a heart full of joy and a love for life's little adventures. With her playful spirit and boundless energy, she is always up for a game of fetch in the backyard. She would be over the moon to have a family with kids who enjoy running around and playing as much as she does. Whether it's chasing after a ball or exploring every corner of the yard, Dingo knows how to turn every moment into a fun-filled experience.
But Dingo's enthusiasm doesn't stop at the backyard fence! She loves to explore and would be a perfect fit for a family that enjoys going on walks, hikes, or trips to the beach. Her curious nature and love for the outdoors mean she's always ready to see new sights, sniff new smells, and discover new places. If you're looking for a companion who will keep you active and bring extra fun to your weekend adventures, Dingo is your girl.
She's not just energetic and playful; Dingo also has excellent manners and a calm demeanor when it's time to relax. She's an all-around wonderful dog who is friendly and social with other dogs, making her a fantastic addition to a home that already has a furry friend. If you have a dog looking for a new best buddy to romp around with, Dingo is the perfect candidate. Her sweet and loving nature makes her a joy to be around, whether she's having a good game of tug-of-war or snuggling up for some downtime.
Dingo is ready to become a cherished member of a family that can keep up with her active lifestyle and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She promises to bring endless joy, laughter, and companionship to her new forever home. If you're looking for a devoted friend who will light up your life, come meet Dingo-you won't be disappointed!
To book a meet and greet with Dingo please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
