About Bear
Dear future family,
My name is Bear, I’m 2 years and 5 months old, desexed male and am on the lookout for my forever home.
My name is a very big clue as to my personality - I am a huge cuddle bear, need a buddy to watch a movie? Need someone to chill with during coffee time? Need a pal while reading a book? Need some love and affection when you’re upset - I am the Guinea for the job. I LOVE CUDDLES!!
At first look of me you may think - wow he’s a big boy, however I maintain a perfect weight I just happen to have (as my foster dad says) a big booty, which just means there is more to cuddle and I hear big bootys are so in at the moment!!
At first when meeting new people I am rather shy and stand offish as I’m an easily nervous soul - however it doesn’t take me long to warm up to new people. My foster dad says I am a big fan of routine which makes me feel even more comfortable and safe with people, after I learn the routine of a household I add my own person touch to things, for example in the morning when I get my pellets and pig mix I wait patiently at the designated food bowl drop zone and will not start eating until I receive a head rub from my foster dad’s - did I mention I will find any excuse for affection and cuddles??
I have not shown much interest in Guinea treats but I do love carrots and cos lettuce and parsley as a treat. I am a huge fan of Tunnels and cuddle cups as my preferred bedding items in my enclosure. I do have times when I wish to be alone so having a hide away would be greatly appreciated - my foster dad’s theory is that I’m prepping myself for more cuddles.
I have been on my own since I was desexed but a lady friend to cuddle with would probably make me even happier - I have not had the opportunity to be handled by children but given how nervous I can be I would benefit more with anyone that has some handling experience with us guineas.
To my future family, I am very eager to meet you, I feel there are countless cuddles and memories and more cuddles to be had with me in your home and would love to be part of a family, looking forward to meeting you and I hope you don’t take to long to find me
Sincerely, Bear the cuddly Guinea ❤️
