About Avocado
Meet the BLAT Burger pups: Bread, Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, and Tomato! These five adorable 3-month-old German Shepherd cross puppies are the perfect blend of sweet and sassy. At first, they may be a little timid, but once they feel comfortable, they quickly come out of their shells and show their playful, loving personalities.
Bread, Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, and Tomato are full of puppy energy and curiosity. They thrive best in a home with another dog who can help guide them and be their playmate or in a family with friends or relatives who have dogs for them to socialize and play with. They love to romp around, chase after toys, and explore the world with their playful spirits.
These pups would do great in a family with kids who are happy to be around bouncy, lively puppies. They are all eager learners, and training is essential to help them grow into well-mannered, confident adult dogs. With the right guidance, these beautiful babies will blossom into loyal and loving companions.
If you're ready for the adventure of raising one of these little ones, Bread, Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, and Tomato can't wait to find their forever homes!
To book a meet and greet with Avocado please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
