About Bianca
BIANCA came to Ark extremely frightened. From the moment she was brought to Ark she has hid away. Her foster carer has put in a considerable amount of time into her and believes with the right person she will be an affectionate and loving cat.
Currently Bianca still hides away, however has been coming out to her foster carer for extended pats. She purrs aloud when she sees the person she wants. She craves affection, absolutely loves being pat.
Currently Bianca lives with cats, large dogs and toddler children. Her foster carer says she has made a lot of progress and will continue getting more confident with time and patience. Her foster carer believes without toddlers and a dog that wants to always say hi, her confidence to come out and be affectionate will be at a faster pace.
Bianca doesn’t mind her cat friends but she loves her people most of all. Would love to lay around on the bed or lounge if she felt she was safe.
Bianca is a Domestic shorthair, however her features resemble two beautiful breeds. Her pure white coat, cream tips and sky blue eyes resemble the breed of a Flame Point Siamese. While her tail and legs are is short and robust such as the British shorthair.
Unfortunately due to Bianca’s current personality she does have a strict criteria on the type of family she needs. She needs a family that is mostly calm, without a dog that is “intense” to cats, or little toddlers that she may be scared of. She needs a person that will give her time to bond. Her foster carer has been giving her around 40min a day of just sitting and patting her. This has been extremely helpful with her confidence. In time she will improve and won’t need this dedicated time, but time and patience is needed.
Possibly in time with her foster carer she may show different signs and this criteria may change.
This little girl is so deserving of love. We would love to see her so happy and flourish in her forever home.
Medical notes
Weeping from eyes. Foster carer wipes her eyes daily and gives her Framixin eye ointment. It has improved after using this medication. This may have to be continued.
