About Chispa
Hi there! I'm Chispa, and I'm here to tell you all about... me!
I'm a 4-year-and-7-month-old flame point Ragdoll, and if I do say so myself, I'm quite the looker. I'm a fluffy little ball of fur with big, beautiful eyes that are pretty hard to resist (just ask anyone who's met me). I know I'm super stunning, and, well, I may flaunt it just a little!
I can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but give me a bit of time, and I'll show you my loving side. Once we're buddies, you can bet I'll be right by your side, waiting for those head scratches and neck rubs - they're my absolute favorite!
I do get along with other cats, but let's be honest here - I like to be in charge. So, if you have another feline friend at home, it would need to be a pretty relaxed kitty who's cool with me being the boss. I'm a typical Ragdoll, and we like things our way!
Oh, and one more thing! I've got this fabulous fluffy coat that makes me look as handsome as I am, but it does mean I need a little help staying in tip-top shape. A good brushing a few times a week will keep me looking my best (and I quite enjoy it, too).
So, if you're looking for a gorgeous fluff ball with a dash of charm, a bit of sass, and a whole lot of love to give, I might just be your purr-fect match!

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
