About Pinky
Meet Pinky!
Pinky is a charming 1-year and 6-month-old Ginger Tabby with a gentle, lovable personality. This handsome boy is looking for a forever home where he can feel safe, cherished, and adored. Pinky is a little timid at first, especially when meeting new people or settling into a new environment, so a home with some quiet corners and cozy hiding spots would be perfect for him as he adjusts.
Cat-friendly by nature, Pinky would be happiest living with another feline friend who respects his space and enjoys just hanging out. He would also do well with older kids who understand the importance of giving him time to settle in.
Pinky has a few quirks that make him even more endearing! He absolutely loves having his bum scratched and will proudly arch his back as high as he can in appreciation. He's also known for his adorable habit of rolling around, showing off while soaking up all the love and attention he can get.
He dreams of spending his days indoors, finding the perfect spot on the couch to curl up and nap, or enjoying a little playtime followed by a nice meal before drifting off to sleep again. If you're looking for a cat who will bring joy, comfort, and a bit of fun into your home, Pinky could be your perfect match!
To book a meet and greet with Pinky please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
