About TJ
Meet TJ, a wonderfully affectionate cat who is sure to steal your heart with his loving nature and endless snuggles. If you're looking for a companion who will be the first to curl up on your lap the moment you sit down, TJ is your perfect match. His charming habit of laying with his front paws stretched forward makes him look reminiscent of a relaxed dog, adding a unique touch to his already endearing personality.
TJ isn't a high-energy cat, preferring to spend his days lounging and napping in cozy spots. However, he does have a playful side and loves to chase flies around the house, bringing a burst of excitement to his otherwise laid-back demeanor. Since his sister arrived in our care, TJ has become more playful and enjoys their occasional frolics, but most of the time, he's happy to relax and watch the world go by.
Whether you're working from home or just curled up with a good book, TJ will be right there beside you, offering warm companionship and gentle affection. His easygoing attitude makes him an excellent fit for someone looking for a calm, loving presence in their life. TJ is ready to find a new family where he can bring his unique blend of relaxation and occasional bursts of play. Could that be yours? If you're seeking an affectionate, loyal companion, look no further than TJ.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
