Watanghar is a lovely friendly playful young dog who just wants to be into EVERYTHING. He has a truly wonderful temperament, is very affectionate and would love to be your lap dog, he has no idea how heavy he is! Sometimes he will follow you from room to room seeking attention, asking for a cuddle. He gets on very well with the other foster dogs in the house and even with the resident cat – he says hello very nicely to the cat at the bedroom door and tries to play with it.

He eats calmly around other dogs; though he can sometimes be possessive about his bone! Watanghar would definitely benefit from formal obedience training; while he knows some commands like sit, stay and get back, his obedience to these commands depends on there being no distractions. He loves to play with his soft toys, tennis balls etc but he’s not into fetch. House training is still a work in progress. As I don’t have a doggy door, he’s very reliable about using the puppy pads if he has to go and he can’t get outside.

Watanghar loves his daily walk around the streets; he walks fairly well on a slip lead, but can sometimes pull strongly. He is curiosity personified and has to stop and check everything out. He loves a ride in the car and gets in and out of the car on command but must be tethered in the back or he will try and join you on the front seat. Watanghar has the makings of a truly delightful loyal loving family member who will bring endless joy and amusement into your life, if you are willing to provide him with the discipline he needs and the love and affection he deserves.
