Hi! I'm Tonka.

My foster pawrents named me Tonka because, while I might be a little nervous at first, I'm growing every day into a big and brave kitty. If I hide when we first meet, please don't take it personally—I'm just getting to know you. With a bit of patience and love, I'll come out of my shell, and when that happens, you'll definitely know it! I'll be calling out for your love and attention with my sweet meows.

I absolutely adore gentle scratches behind my ears, and if you want to capture my heart, know that food is my love language. Any food will do; I'm not picky at all! Once I've settled into my new home, I promise to reward you with warm cuddles, especially at night. There's nothing quite like snuggling up close to the one you love.

I may be described as very nervous, but with time, the right person or people, and the perfect home, I will flourish into a real lovebug. If you're willing to give me the patience and care I need, I know I can be the most loyal and affectionate companion you've ever had. How am I with dogs? I came from a home with dogs but I'm unsure how I feel about them now.
How am I with cats? I don't mind my foster siblings, but I prefer chilling with the older calm ones.
How am I with kids? Untested, most likely better suited to an older teen or young adult.
My purrfect home is: My purrfect home is one with a human that understands nervous cats, one that's willing to give me the time and care I require to flourish. I also don't like being alone so I need to be a multi-cat home with chill kitty siblings.

Tonka's adoption fee is $195 which includes desexing, microchipping, parasite prevention, and initial F3 vaccination.
