Starting life as a stray kitten is always difficult however Timothy had a much bigger hurdle to overcome. When we first saw Timothy we knew there was a problem. His right eye was opaque and he was in need of urgent vet care.

His eye had been clearly bothering him and, after a trip to our amazing vets, it was clear that Timothy’s eye needed to be removed.

After all the vet visits, eye drops and medication Timothy had before and after his eye removal, you would think this boy would be a bit cantankerous. But that is not who Timothy is at all. He never once displayed bad temper despite all he went through.

This plucky little boy is a trooper. Timmy has a wonderful nature and is more than ready to start the next chapter of his life with a loving forever home.

You would never know that Timothy has a disability. He tears around his foster home with his siblings and does exactly the same things they do. He is very agile, and his favourite game is chasing the laser light.

Timothy waits very patiently for the laser dot to come around and then pounces (he is a bit confused as to why he can’t catch it though). Having only one eye doesn’t hold Timothy back in the slightest.

Timothy is a super affectionate kitten. He loves to be cuddled and will head butt you and give you heaps of smooches.

Timothy will suit most families and would like another playmate for company such as a young cat or a small cat-friendly dog. He is not suited to being an only cat left alone for long periods of time.

Timothy is good with his carer’s dog however you would need to insure you can manage slow and careful introductions in your home to your dog. Guidance on how to do this correctly will be provided.

Timothy may have started life with a struggle and things could have gone very badly for him had he not got the vet care he needed. Now Timothy is happy and healthy, and he deserves the best life you can give him.
