The Dread Pirate Roberts (aka Westley)

Westley is sweet, loyal, and loveable... just like his namesake.

Sadly, he keeps getting overlooked again and again. Do people see him as nothing more than a farm boy? Anyone who has seen The Princess Bride can attest to just how dashing, cunning, and affectionate he truly is!

Little Westley is a very playful young chap who truly enjoys the company of other cats. He can often be found wrestling and battling wits with his foster siblings (he is also working on his sword fighting skills, though fencing is a bit more difficult when you don't have thumbs.)

And when he and his foster siblings are not off on traversing eel-infested waters or scaling the cliffs of insanity, they are all bunched up in a cuddle puddle or grooming each other contentedly (which we are pretty sure happened off screen with Westley and Inigo).

Westley also loves humans, though he is a bit cautious around people he does not know (and rightly so, as he has faced so many perils and been pursued by so many ill-intenders). We believe this is why he has not been adopted yet; most people simply don't want to give a 'shy' kitten a chance.

But we assure you, Westleny is brave, courageous, noble, and incredibly loving once he settles in.

He will also keep your house free of R.O.U.S.
