About Boris
Meet Boris, a delightful 5-month-old pup who is as sweet as they come and ready to be the perfect addition to a loving family! Boris is full of puppy energy and joy, and he's sure to bring endless smiles to your home. He would thrive in a home where he can be indoors with his family, enjoying all the cuddles and playtime life has to offer.
To help Boris grow up to be the most well-mannered boy he can be, enrolling him in puppy school is recommended. He's eager to learn and with some guidance, he will quickly become a star pupil! Boris loves other dogs and would ideally have a canine companion at home or the opportunity to head out regularly for playdates with friends and family dogs. He enjoys meeting new doggy friends, so a home that can offer him that social interaction would be perfect.
Boris is also a great fit for families with kids who are comfortable around a bouncy young pup. Since he is still learning, he would love to meet the kids first to make sure everyone gets along. With his friendly nature and playful spirit, Boris is ready to fill your home with love and laughter!
To book a meet and greet with Boris please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
