About Faith
I saved Faith from euthanasia when she was found living under a house very pregnant but unable or walk.
She was at risk of euthanasia because the vet was concerned that she wouldn’t have ability to birth her babies due to being paralysed - but after a 3 day stand off with the vet clinic - I got to take her home. In the new environment away from the noise of a busy animal hospital; she walked out of the carrier unassisted and hasn’t looked back since.
Her babies have since been adopted and this sweet beautiful girl who is a special place in my heart - is now ready for her forever home.
Faith is a sweet and gentle cat who prefers a quiet, routine environment. It will take her some time to settle in and feel comfortable, but once she is she will want to be near you and keep you colony as you go about your day.
She is not a fan of being picked up or a full blown lap cat, but is affectionate and loves chin rubs and soft head pats.
She would enjoy a playmate for a bit of chasey, but would also do well on her own. Her playmate should be friendly but not overbearing (she pulls back/retreats a bit if there is another assertive/dominant cat). She is meticulous with her grooming and also seems to like grooming other cats.
She seems a little fussy about toys. The only toy I have been able to get her to play with something on a string where it is moving and she gets to stalk it, chase it and take it down - she loves this kind of play.
