A kind, gentle soul, looking for a place to call home.

Being a Maremma Sheepdog, he loves to spend most of his time outside. I know what you're thinking.. he looks like a big fluffy teddy. He is true to his breed and will often alarm bark to alert of us of strangers which is exactly what his breed is supposed to do however not the easiest to thing to live with in a suburban backyard.

Murphy would be well suited to living on a farm but as we have no knowledge of whether he has been around livestock we would always recommend introductions to other animals be gradual and controlled.

He thinks catch me is the best game in the world and will come bounding at you before dancing just out of reach. He might enjoy living with another dog, pending a meet & greet at the shelter and would be suited to a family with secondary aged children.
