About Bella
Hi Everybody
I am Sweet and Petite BELLA, 15kg size , and I'm now 16mths old roughly.
I was rescued from the street of rural NSW. I used to sleep on the street in the gutter to keep warm. Then cought by the pound, served my mandatory time there, put on euthanasia list because the pound was full and no one came for me, until Tailsoftheforgottenpawsau.org.au rescued me.
My foster family absolutely adores me. I am a pocket rocket during the day but loves to snuggle in the evening.
Having absolutely no training prior to coming into my foster carer family, I've learnt so much on basic obedience commands such as sit, stay and walking on a leash.
Of course I am toilet trained ! I'm not overly food obsessed, taking treats very gently from your hand..so I have great manners with humans.😊🙂
Being a very young girl still in her L Plate , I will need a family that can continue my training so I can catch up with my skills just like any other dogs who are well balanced in our society as well as at home.
So I need a family who is committed to further training and continue to teach me the boundaries of my home.
I currently with Corby, Am Staff X Bulldog, and I ABSOLUTELY adore MY big foster brother, and my favourite games are chasey and tug of war. He is so patient with me 😇🙂🥰 he is an angel
Don't let my size fool you, I may be small but I hold my own and often initiates a bit of wrestling.
I AM quick and nimble and curious /eager to learn, so mental stimulation for a young girl like me is a must . Just like any dogs, if left without enough mental stimulation, i may end up being destructive.
What my foster family think of me : 😊🙂❤️👇
Bella is an inside dog, but loves to explore the outdoors. She is a friendly, confident and cheeky girl
With her foster family, she has gotten used to sleeping in her crate but would absolutely love to sleep on your bed with you. She will follow her person around the house, taking up residence on the nearest couch where ever possible.
She loveeesss kids as we currently have 3 dog savy kids in the house.
Bella would suit an active family who would take her on outings and generally be made a part of the family. She LOVES being involved in your day to day life.
She is an indoor dog, she loves car rides and playing with other dogs and can be boisterous sometimes but she listen and learned to correction very well.
She is still learning to dog properly . So please be patient as this girl has had a rough start in life through no fault of her own and in a short 6 weeks has learned so much! And has so much more potential.
A family with a mature well behaved dog will be a BONUS for Bella. This way, she can learn from the other dog, too. And she LOVES making new friends due to her friendly temperament.
She is used to teenage kids and would likely suit a family with older children (school aged +) due to the need to develop further obedience skills.
Like most young dogs, she needs her family to be home more often than not.
She will suit a family who has the time, energy & commitment to continue with basic obedience training. A family that will include her as a part of the team. You will need to commit to enrolling her to reputable dog training school to ensure sound future development for Bella.
