About Roon
**STUMPY TAIL STUNNER**
Introducing the gorgeous HD2906 Roon!
This happy cuddle bug has come to us to find a new home as the resident older dog has lost patience with him and it's become a stressful environment.
Roon is very smart, so he's looking for a home where he can gain more skills as he learns so quickly.
He likes playing with the ball but hasn’t figured out how to bring it back, and "treat in a towel" games are always a winner.
He has a little nob for a tail, so when he’s happy that thing goes crazy!
He loves to just hang out and be near people but he’s good at entertaining himself too
Roon is a medium sized, medium energy pooch, so someone who is active on the weekends would be a good fit.
He’s good around other dogs, he'll stand back and watch for a bit and then will join in when he’s ready, but untested with cats.
He’s very well behaved but is a trip hazard as he likes to stand in front of people!
He loves his food.
Roon has spent time with a 2 year old and is a very patient boy with kids.
He will bark at appropriate times, and can be a bit timid, he doesn't enjoy confrontation.
He likes new people, but he might bark if he doesn't recognise them, until he knows they're friends.
Roon knows a few commands, he'll sit and wait until given “ok” to eat his dinner and “In your yard” when the gate is open to move cars
He does pee when excited still but that can be tamed in time. He's not been an inside dog for extended periods of time so unsure how toilet-trained he is.
If you'd like to know more about this dashing lad, please message us or email hedland@safe.org.au to speak to his mum!
