About Genie
Rub the lamp and out pops Genie, the 1-year-old, black and tan kelpie girl of your dreams!
Having spent most of her life on the farm, Genie has decided that she doesn’t want to work, but would prefer to hang out with her people or her doggy pals. She loves a run and play, but is most happy being by your side or snuggling with her humans. When inside, Genie is happy to hang out on her bed, but really loves when she can cuddle up and get all of the pats!
Genie knows how to sit, and is great at loose lead walking. She is also happy off lead and will stay pretty close or at least come when she is called.
Genie would be happy as a farm companion or in quieter suburbs, as long as she has plenty of human attention and her daily exercise. She is not the most confident girl, but would happily go on adventures if it means being with her humans. Genie loves her doggy pals and, although generally more submissive, is always up for some rough and tumble or just chilling with her fur crew. She would be best with older kids or an adult only home.

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
