Introducing Chino!

This handsome man may be short in stature, but he has the biggest heart and all the love to give his human friends if you only give him a chance.

After being surrendered to the shelter by his previous owners who could no longer care for him, Chino is desperate to find his second chance at forever with a new family.

Like many dogs who make their way to the shelter, Chino struggles with confidence issues and may take some time to warm up to unfamiliar people. He needs parents who are willing to be his safety blanket as he makes his way back into the big wide world. This will be an incredibly rewarding job, as you will get to watch Chino come out of his shell, relax and become the playful pup that has been hiding under the surface all along.

Chino would be more than happy to live with children as long as they are secondary school-aged and prepared to be gentle and take things slowly with him when they first meet. Despite his initial nervousness around unfamiliar people, Chino has shown no problems with other dogs in the shelter and would be well-suited to live in a home with some doggy siblings! Chino would love to be around another dog who can teach him how to relax, nap in the sun and play endlessly with toys!
