About Chelsie Mai
Chelsie mai’s teenage owner had to move out of the area with her mother, before they left towards the end of last year they organised a new home for chelsie mai with and older man who lived in the same street. Not long afterwards he became unwell so was not able to look after her anymore. He son jack decided to take chelsie mai and promised his dad he would look after her. He had always had foxies so was not sure how much to feed her and she seemed to be always hungry yet loosing weight. He did not know what to do as he didn’t have any money to spend on a vet. A volunteer for happypaws haven lived in the same street and observed how skinny chelsie mai was getting so suggested that she should be surrendered to happypaws haven and he agreed. Chelsie is a lovely dog at just over 12 months old, gets on with other dogs and cats. She was full of worms and fleas when we got her, but that is all fixed now she is putting on weight again, she has been de-sexed, chipped and immunised and is ready for a new home. Ideally she should have another dog to play with and some kids and should not be left for hours on end without human contact or she will become a barker. She loves kids to play with her so we hope a lovely family will come to adopt her
