Rover

Hi there! My name is Rover, and I’m a sweet-natured Staffy cross with a goofy side that’s sure to make you smile.

I’m still young and learning the ropes, so I’m looking for an owner who’s willing to invest in some ongoing training with me. Sometimes too much handling and pats at times is a little too much for me right now, so it would be amazing to have someone who can provide me with positive reinforcement training to get me use to this so I can become the best lap dog. Exposure to new things and experiences will also help me become more confident and relaxed. 

I have a tendency to get over excited when I see other dogs, so consistent training to help me associate them neutrally will be important as I continue to grow. While I might need some extra guidance, I’m definitely a dog-social fellow when I get to meet them.

I’m looking forward to meeting my new family, I would like to meet everyone before going home. I can be a bit jumpy and because I'm a large breed that may be intimidating to some smaller children. Hopefully my new family will put in some training with me so I can be the best boy I can be!

In return, I promise to be a loving, playful companion who’s eager for both physical and mental stimulation. I love to go on adventures and play games, and my goofy personality will keep you entertained every day.
