About Squeak
Meet Pip and Squeak!
Pip and Squeak are two adorable 2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mixes looking for their forever homes. These playful pups are full of energy and would love to find a family that can keep up with their adventurous spirit!
Pip is the more outgoing of the duo, always ready to make new friends and say hello to anyone she meets. Squeak is a bit more reserved, preferring to take things slow and steady. Due to her timidity, Squeak would do best in a home with older kids who can give her the space she needs to feel comfortable.
Both dogs get along wonderfully with other dogs and are currently having a blast hanging out with four canine pals while they await their new families. They love to run around and play, so a home that can provide them with daily walks and lots of playtime would be ideal. They're also house-trained and would love to spend their downtime snuggled up on the couch.
Pip and Squeak can be adopted together, or separately into homes that already have another dog to keep them company. At just 2 years old, they are still young and eager to learn, so some additional training will help them continue to shine.
If you're looking for a pair of playful companions (or just one!) who will fill your home with joy and laughter, Pip and Squeak might be the perfect match for you!
To book a meet and greet with Squeak please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
