About Jenson
Meet Jenson, an absolute bundle of joy who radiates love and happiness! When Jenson first arrived, he was a bit timid and had limited experience with the outside world. But with just a few weeks of tender care and plenty of TLC, he’s blossomed into a confident and playful companion.
Jenson is a master cuddler, always ready to snuggle up and bury his head against you at any chance. Even if he’s sound asleep, the moment he hears you move, he’s wide awake and right by your side, eager to be close.
He has a special fondness for watching TV and is utterly obsessed with playing fetch and squeaky toys. While he’s not particularly food-driven, Jenson’s favorite motivator is your cheerful, squeaky praise. He thrives on love and affection and will reward you with endless tail wags and cuddles.
MY IDEAL HOME: Jenson would thrive best in a home where someone is around more often than not, as he loves having company and must have a doggy friend to share his days with. He’s adaptable to both apartments and houses, as long as he has a cozy spot to call his own.
Jenson will need regular grooming every 6-8 weeks to keep him looking and feeling his best. His ideal family will be one that can continue to gently introduce him to new experiences and help build his confidence. With your love and support, Jenson will keep flourishing and bring endless joy to your life.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: He is a great mix! He is very playful and energetic, but also quick to switch it off and snuggle.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Jenson hasn’t had much direct experience with kids, though he has seen them around during outings. Given his gentle nature and his quick adjustment to new experiences, we believe he would do best in a home with kids aged 10 and up. His calm demeanor and affectionate personality suggest he’ll adapt well to older children who can engage with him respectfully and give him the space he needs.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Jenson absolutely adores other dogs! He’s been living harmoniously with a grumpy Beaglier and a Cavoodle. His easygoing nature shines through—he knows when to give space and when to offer a friendly wag.
He’s also had a fantastic time with a calm and placid American Staffy, showing he can make fast friends with dogs of all sizes. Jenson did wonderfully at a small doggy daycare, and he had an absolute blast on a sleepover with two Beagliers and a super energetic Springer Spaniel.
Occasionally, he may bark at bigger dogs while on a lead, but his reactions are more of a gentle growl than anything aggressive. He quickly transitions from barking to sniffing and moving on, displaying a friendly curiosity rather than any real hostility.
He has not been tested with cats.

We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
