About Molly
Introducing Molly!
Molly is a Staffy x Kelpie born 17th December 2023.
Molly was brought in to us as a stray, with several other dogs from the same household. This is a known household to us and upon contacting her owner he decided to surrender her to us. Unfortunately he is struggling to look after himself, let alone all the animals as well. Molly has always lived outside with other dogs (up to 7 dogs at any given time), this unfortunately means she hasn't had much general training like toilet training, walking on a lead etc.
Since being at the facility, Molly has wormed her way into all of our hearts. She's incredibly sweet & affectionate. She will sit (if there's treats involved) and she's so eager to please her humans. She'll climb in your lap for a cuddle and kiss. Molly is very food motivated which will help aid in her training. She's an all-round beautiful girl, who deserves a safe, loving place to lay her head each night.
Molly tested ok with other dogs. She was incredibly timid when first meeting others (she actually wet herself she was so scared). Since doing her assessment, her overall confidence has increased dramatically and she is now doing much better with them. We feel Molly could be suitable to live with others, or be a spoilt "only child". If you have a friendly dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
Molly was scared of our cats & roosters during her assessment.
*Please note our cat & pocket pet testing is done through an enclosure. We cannot guarantee how she will react to smaller, free roaming animals.
Molly has shown no signs of food aggression while being at the facility, however she has shown signs of separation anxiety. As she has previously housed with several other dogs, we believe her anxiety could improve with other animals around.
Molly's adoption fee is $600 and includes her desexing and lifetime registration.
Molly has been treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
