Sheryl is a reserved and cautious girl who needs a bit of time and patience to feel comfortable in a new home. She's a little wary of new humans and new places, so she'll need a family that understands her need to take things slowly. Once Sheryl starts to feel at ease, she'll meow and come up to you, asking for gentle pats. After she's had her fill of affection, she'll retreat to her cozy hideaway for a well-deserved nap.

Sheryl's ideal home would be with adults or older, cat-savvy children who can respect her boundaries. She would do best in a dog-free environment. While she may be slow to warm up, Sheryl might benefit from having another cat around who can show her that humans aren't so scary. If you have the patience and love to give, Sheryl could be the perfect companion.
