My name is Veritas and I was named in honour of a much loved cat and in remembrance of an animal loving family.
I was surrendered to the pound with my Mum and sister. For those of you that don’t know , when you get surrendered to the pound the period of time they keep you before you get put on that “ list” is short. Well the time came that our names were put on that list, and the call out SOS was answered by Silver Lining.
It was a big adjustment to go from being surrendered, to the pound and then to a foster home but my placid personality is making this so much easier for me.
The first time my foster mum picked me up to cuddle me, she could feel my whole body shaking but I was purring at the same time and I stayed in her arms making no attempt to go anywhere. I know that I will enjoy being part of a loving family with lots of affection.
I behaved myself magnificently while I was getting my photos done for my profile, sitting contentedly and yes, I was purring all the while.
My fur is so so soft, and talking about contentedly, can you see yourself sitting with me in your lap running your fingers through my fur? I am the type of cat that you will have a deep connection with and never regret the day you made me a part of your life.
PLEASE NOTE: WEEKEND MEET AND GREETS ONLY DUE TO WORK COMMITMENTS ❤
If you would like to meet me please email the rescue at fostersadoptslpr@gmail.com or pm the Silver Lining Pet Rescue Inc facebook page.

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
