About Bear
*In foster care in Croydon Park, Sydney*
Beautiful boy kitten Bear has a bold, courageous spirit, and he's always eager to conquer new terrain! Whether he's discovered a hidden corner of the house, or you're simply wandering around doing your daily tasks, rest assured, this little guy will be right in amongst it :)
Bear's shiny black coat is the perfect match for his clever and playful personality. His sense of adventure does sometimes get the best of him - like the time he leapt from the couch to the coffee table with all the grace of a ninja, but unfortunately misjudged the distance and ended up in a not-so-graceful heap on the floor. Unfazed, he popped right back up, as if to say, 'I totally meant to do that!' His clumsy yet confident antics never fail to bring laughter to his foster family, especially when his siblings Gilly and Josie join in on the fun!
Like all Maggie's pets, Bear is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'll thrive in a lively environment where I'm given plenty of interactive playtime! A single person, couple or family who enjoys the dynamic an active pet brings to a home and who'll provide me with the stimulation I need will be perfect :)
I'm keen to live with another cat too, or even a nice dog! I totally adore my siblings Gilly and Josie, so if you're open to adopting a kitten pair, taking me home with one (or both!) of them would definitely be like hitting the jackpot!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Sky-high! I love to play, explore and follow you around, and I'm always on the go. But like most cats I also crave long bouts of downtime, preferably snoozing near my favourite human or curled up with my siblings.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Great, I reckon! My playful nature makes me a wonderful friend for kids who like to engage with their pets. My curiosity and energy will keep them entertained, and my affectionate side ensures that I'll be a loving companion when playtime is over.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I adore the other cats in my life, especially my littermates Gilly and Josie and my older sister Lyla! It's so awesome having a feline friend to wrestle and chase around.
There's every chance too that I'd enjoy living in a home with a friendly dog! Let's give it a try, if you like :)

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
