About Otis - 38455
Otis has been in our care for some time, undergoing management for skin issues and osteoarthritis of his hips. Though he comes with some medical needs, Otis is quite an easy-going dog to have. Otis is house trained, walks fairly well on lead, is settled staying in the backyard and is great to handle. He may suit a family with older children respecting of dog boundaries. He has no experience with cats but has some solid basic commands. Otis has an ongoing specialty diet that aids in his skin support as well as joint management to keep his joints in the best possible condition. He has history living with another dog, however does best in a single dog only home.
Medical notes
Otis has osteoarthritis of the hips, which is managed by regular pentosan injections. He also is on Royal Canin anallergenic for his skin issues, supplemented with cytopoint injections as needed and apoquel.

Please note it is compulsory that we meet any existing dogs with the GAWS dog of interest to help ensure a good match for all involved. In addition, all household members are required to attend the meet and greet to assess the dog's interaction.
