About Trina
Meet Trina,
Trina was recently adopted, however she was returned as her new owner had a change of mind. Trina is again looking for a new home due to no fault of her own. Trina is a friendly kitten who would be suitable for most homes. She is easy-going & loves to play & interact with the ACF staff.
She is very friendly, playful & curious & will make you laugh & keep you entertained with her fun-loving ways!
Trina came in with her brothers Tomas (ID: 11385) & Toasty (ID: 11352). Trina is a little, itty bitty sweetie, but don't those bedroom eyes fool you - she has a sharp, playful streak hidden under all that cuteness!
She is affectionate and doesn’t mind being picked up, carried, and cuddled so she would be suitable for families. Trina would make a great mate for kids and is open to meet children of any age!
Just like all kittens, Trina would love a cat tree to climb on and scratch, and an assortment of toys to play with. She should be fed kitten food multiple times a day to ensure that she grow up big and strong.
Trina is already litter trained, but it’s best to show her where the litter tray is when you get home to minimise any accidents.
If you’ve got other animals at home, that’s okay, just make sure that they have a slow & controlled introduction.
Can you open your heart and home to a friendly, playful kitty like Trina?

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
